      Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Anti-wrinkle treatment is one of the most popular choices for dealing with fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment works by making muscles hibernate and relax. This causes the overlying skin to become smooth and unwrinkled and results in a natural and more youthful appearance.

Effects last for three to six months depending on the depth of your contours and whether you have previously had the treatment.

The most common areas that anti-wrinkle injections can treat are:

      • The deep creases between the eyebrows
      • Frown lines on the forehead
      • Laughter lines/crows feet radiating away from the eyes

Anti-wrinkle injections are also a very effective treatment for Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). This has also been proven effective in reducing the severity of migraine.

Anti-wrinkle treatment is appropriate for most people, however if you are pregnant or breast feeding, on blood coagulation medication such as Warfarin, or suffer from Myasthenia Gravis, this is not recommended.

      How it Works

Prior to any treatment you will have a complimentary consultation with a practitioner to ensure anti-wrinkle injections are the appropriate treatment for you. They will discuss your treatment and answer any questions.

      • The treatment is administered as a series of injections with a very fine needle
      • It takes about 5-10 minutes to do the treatment at each site
      • It normally takes about 30 minutes for the whole consultation and treatment

Side effects are mild or moderate in nature and resolve within a few days. You will be advised to make an appointment for a follow-up consultation two weeks after your treatment. This will allow for an assessment and top up if required. This is included in the initial cost. Additional follow-up consultations will incur a cost.

The facilities and patient service are second to none. The treatment I received for my eczema was innovative, holistic and most importantly highly effective. My skin has responded to the treatment I was prescribed. I am delighted with the resultant, significant reduction in my symptoms. I was impressed by the caring, sensitive and professional treatment I received. This was in stark contrast to my experience at my usual GP and at private consultations with supposedly eminent and specialist dermatologists. Thank you.
