At YourGP we have a team of gender specialists and psychiatrists to support and guide transgender people through the many complex issues around gender dysphoria
Dr Sarah Kennedy, an experienced psychiatrist specialising in gender dysphoria, works alongside gender specialist Dr Lyndsey Myskow to support and guide transgender people through their reassignment journey.
We have been contacted by, and working with, a trusted source about helping RDF Television create a sensitive and informative documentary surrounding the transitions of transgender patients. We would like to share their message for anyone who feels that they would be willing to be part of this documentary series.
RDF Television are working on a new documentary series which will follow a number of transgender people as they transition over the course of 2 years. They are looking to speak with people who are in the early stages of their transition.
They want this to be a sensitive, dignified and intelligent series that allows people to tell the stories of their transition in their own words.
They understand that transitioning is different for everyone and they will follow the physical and emotional aspects that come with this and find lots of varied stories and people.
