      Health Check

      Posted on February 24th, 2017

      Diabetes. Heart disease. Cancer.

We can help you strike out these diseases

Getting a regular health check is very important and a key way to look after your health as it can catch problems before they develop and allow you to take any necessary preventative steps.

      What is a health check?

A health check is an examination of your current state of health, often carried out by a GP. Our health checks are fully comprehensive to give you an extensive and in-depth look into your health.

Our basic medical health check includes a pre-assessment questionnaire covering your current medical history, medications and lifestyle, a half-hour GP physical exam, a referral to specialists, if required (e.g. for an X-ray) and a full medical report of the outcomes.

Our executive medicals include all of this as well as extensive blood profiling for an even more thorough look into your health. We can look into the functionality of your liver and kidneys, as well as cholesterol testing and this medical also includes a prostate profile for males and a vitamin D profile for females.

      Why are they important?

The aim of a health check is to help find, prevent or lessen the effect of health issues – it’s better to avoid disease than to treat it.

As we get older, many of us become more vulnerable to illness. In order to reduce this risk, regular medical health checks are recommended.

Even if you feel fine you should still get regular medicals as they can help highlight problems before they become serious. Having just one health check a year can make all the difference to you and your loved ones.

Put the minds of you and your loved ones at ease.

I needed a quick appointment as I was leaving for America. The doctor listened and allayed any concerns. It was a pleasure to talk to a doctor who wasn’t watching the clock and not paying attention to me. I left confident that if a problem arose I would be able to deal with it until I arrived home. The experience left me feeling confident and positive.
