How It Works

GP Appointments

Short-notice GP appointments for company employees. Appointments are available before, during and after most company working hours.

Why

Our GP Appointments are design to give your staff quick access to our range of services. They provide rapid assessment and treatment – getting your team healthy and working again as soon as possible.

Our Service

Patients are seen promptly and given ample time to discuss their ailments and receive a full assessment.

Our on-the-spot services include ‘fitness for work’ assessments and general health consultations. We also deliver a range of specialist treatments, including minor surgical procedures.

If appropriate patients are treated during their consultation or given a programme of treatment or medication. If required, we can make specialist referrals to the NHS, private consultants or private hospitals

Cost

Normal consultation: 15 minutes: £100; 30 minutes: £165
A follow-up telephone consultation can be arranged.

Mental Health Services

A wide range of in-house counselling and support services, including stress counselling, drug and alcohol testing and advice.

Why

Stress at work (and at home) is becoming an increasingly significant problem. Providing confidential support for staff dealing with these problems is not only a socially responsible thing to do, it can also help with staff retention and productivity.

Our Service

Counselling sessions – our expert therapists help patients to address and learn ways to cope with problems such as anxiety, stress and depression in a supportive and confidential environment.

Drug and Alcohol Testing and Advice – we provide confidential and supportive treatment to help patients understand and resolve any dependency issues they face.

Cost

One hour counselling session: £75.00

Annual Health Checks

A range medical ‘MOTs’ and annual check ups, including an Executive Health Medical that only takes an hour and a half.

Why

One of the most effective ways to improve your staff wellbeing and guard their health is to offer them regular medical assessments. These will catch any medical problems they might have and provide them with advice, treatment and support.

Our Service

We are flexible and can customise our medicals to meet your organisation’s specific needs.

Our most popular option is our Executive Health Medical. This annual check-up provides a comprehensive package of tests that focus on those aspects of health, fitness and lifestyle that most frequently give cause for concern, for example:

  • A lifestyle and medical history questionnaire and discussion
  • Height, weight and blood pressure tests
  • Cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, orthopaedic and gastrointestinal assessments
  • Vision and hearing checks
  • An electrocardiogram (ECG) to check for heart problems
  • Well Man / Well Woman blood tests

We write a comprehensive report on our finding and include any specific health and lifestyle advice necessary.

Any aspects that may require further attention will be highlighted and the appropriate testing or treatment can be arranged. If necessary a follow up appointment can be organised to discuss any areas of concern arising from the medical.

Cost

The Full Executive Health Medical costs £400.

NB: Any additional tests will incur a fee.

Sickness Absence Management

Short notice appointments with a wide range of in-house expertise to assist in effective management of employee absence.

Why

Professionally managed sickness absence means a reduced absence duration and frequency with an overall healthier workforce.

Our Service

We can offer support to companies with the following:

  • Under performance due to health issue
  • Independent medical input enabling informed management decisions

We can offer advice and refer onto Specialist services where appropriate.

With access to most health disciplines at short notice, we ensure employees see the right person to treat their specific need, enhancing their diagnosis and minimising recovery rate.

Our Service

Specialist services for Health Survelliance, Statutory Medicals such as; Noise, Respiratory irritants, Skin irritants and Computer work.

Cost

Referrals to specialists cost £45 plus the consultation fee.
