      2. Food poisoning: Always follow the cooking instructions on your turkey and check before serving that the juices run clear. Store leftovers in the fridge and pay close attention to Use By dates.
      3. Twists and sprains: Nothing says Christmas quite like a sprinkling of fresh snow. But if you plan to head out for a brisk winter walk after lunch, take extra care on ungritted paths and pavements – the slippery icey surfaces can cause a painful fall.
      4. Choking: Be sure to keep toys with small loose parts out of reach of babies and young children as they can be a real choking hazard. Be particularly vigilant about button batteries which if swallowed can release highly corrosive acid and cause severe internal bleeding.
      5. Excessive alcohol: Alcohol consumption lowers inhibitions, making you more likely to take risks. Be sure to pace yourself throughout the day and alternate with plenty of water.

I went in for an allergy shot and was thoroughly pleased with the practice from start to finish. They informed me with the all the necessary details and potential side effects (which thankfully I didn’t have). The level of professionalism is felt from the time you enter all the way through the end of your appointment! Thank you! See you next year!
