Do you know your rights? It’s a question we should all be asking ourselves on 13th February, Employee Legal Awareness Day. Workplaces across the country have undergone a great deal of upheaval in the past couple of years as a result of the pandemic. A lot has changed – from where we work to how we work. However, one thing that hasn’t changed is an employer’s obligation to look after their staff.
And so, Employee Legal Awareness Day provides the perfect opportunity for employees and employers alike to brush up on the laws, rules and company policies that shape their workplace.

An employee who fully understands the rights and rules is better able to proactively participate in improving working conditions, and can express concerns regarding health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace more effectively.
