What is the Real Living Wage?

The Real Living Wage is an independently calculated rate that goes further than the government minimum wage. Calculated annually by The Resolution Foundation, it is based on the current cost of living and takes into account factors such as housing, childcare, transport and heating costs, which are all necessary for a decent standard of living.
