Medical Secretary
The role of a Medical Secretary is a varied and demanding one, yet Sarah takes it all in her stride. From managing our gender clinic, occupational health department, and company medical bookings, to organising prescription requests, dictation, and general admin – Sarah’s steadfast level- headedness whilst juggling it all ensures the practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
Sarah joined YourGP back in 2008 as temporary maternity cover, but it was apparent to all from day one just how well suited she was for the role. Now, over a decade later, we couldn’t imagine the practice without her.
Sarah describes the doctors at YourGP as ‘The friendliest, most helpful and appreciative doctors I have ever known!’ Whilst that may be true, it is thanks to Sarah’s continued loyalty and commitment to her important work behind the scenes at YourGP that our patients can experience such a high level of service at every appointment.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her husband and rescue dog, putting her own stamp on her home, and going out for dinner in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Back to all staffI went in for an allergy shot and was thoroughly pleased with the practice from start to finish.
