There are those that view their job as just an occupation, and there are those that see it as much more than that. That’s what separates a good doctor from a great doctor, and because he aspires to be the latter, Dr Harris Rana takes the time to really listen to patients to fully understand their concerns.
Dr Rana is just as keen to ensure others get the most out of their job too, whatever their line of work, and it’s for this reason he completed a postgraduate diploma in Occupational Medicine after studying Medicine at the University of Aberdeen. With just a few boxes left to tick, he’ll be fully trained in all aspects of Occupational Health later this year.
Dr Rana has worked hard to earn a whole host of other professional qualifications too, including his OGUK certification. Of course, life can’t be all work, work, work, so in his spare time he likes to wind down by watching football (although whether this is conducive to a relaxing afternoon depends on if his team wins!)
