Dr Chong

BSc (Hons), MBBS, MRCGP

Gender Specialist

Dr Chin Chong has been making a hugely positive impact on the lives of many of our patients since joining the practice. A highly qualified GP, Dr Chong has so far completed a BSc (Hons) in Exercise Physiology and gained his MBBS and MRCGP accreditations. Dr Chong also underwent extensive Gender Specialist training, under the expert guidance of YourGP’s Medical Director, Dr Myskow.

Dr Chong is an active member of the British Association of Gender Identity Specialists (BAGIS), the aim of which is to promote clinical research and exchange of knowledge of gender dysphoria and transgender health. Thanks to his naturally caring and compassionate manner, Dr Chong has provided treatment and support for a number of transgender patients at various points in their transition – from initial assessments, right through to hormone therapy and beyond.

Dr Chong gets a tremendous sense of satisfaction watching his patients go through their transition process, witnessing them become happier and more confident within themselves.
