Managing Director
Prior to joining YourGP, Laurie spent several years working in occupational health for a private company in Aberdeen. It was here he realised just how much he enjoys working in a field that really does help people first hand, as well as the variety that this industry offers. Here he also gained valuable experience of offshore medical requirements in addition to several other specialised healthcare areas, and developed skills in team management and client care.
In April 2019 Laurie was promoted to the position of Practice Manager at YourGP and in 2023 this role was changed to Managing Director.
Back to all staffI was directed to YourGP by my health insurance when traveling on Scotland. I was with intense pain on my feet and had an appointment with Dr Doogan, and what an incredible doctor she is!
She explained everything with the most detail and patience possible, listened even with more patience and care, it’s so rare nowadays seeing passionate doctors for their jobs like Dr Doogan.
