Born and raised in Mauritius, Sweta trained in Edinburgh and has since spent a number of years working all over the UK. Her Speech and Language Therapy expertise covers a range of disciplines with paediatric and adult patients for speech, language and communication as well as eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties.
She is committed to her continuing professional development and has taken numerous post graduate courses to keep her skills up to date. The breadth and depth of her experience has taught her the importance of taking a holistic approach to patient care.
Sweta has a keen interest in languages, recently undergoing training in interpreting and translating to gain membership of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. She is a native Creole and French speaker with a working knowledge of Hindi and Urdu and also a competent BSL and Makaton signer.
Away from work, Sweta enjoys volleyball, running and experimental cuisine.
