Gender dysphoria is a condition whereby a person feels a mismatch between their biological sex and their gender identity. This can often cause great distress to the individual, many of whom report feeling ‘trapped’ in the wrong body.
Gender dysphoria can be a difficult condition to face, not just for the sufferer, but for their friends and family who may have questions. However, YourGP provides extensive help and support to all affected, and is proud to have treated many people with the condition, enabling them to become happier and more confident in who they are.
Here at YourGP, we see everyone as an individual, therefore the treatment we provide for gender dysphoria can take a variety of forms. Everyone, however, can benefit from the following:

I was surprised to meet a GP with such a ready smile and willingness to give me the time I needed. I felt we had a conversation as equals and that she actually heard what I said. A couple of blood tests, a physiotherapy referral and I am better than I have been in a very long time
