As word of YourGP’s high standard of healthcare spread and demand increased, we decided to expand our team and hire an Assistant Business Manager. We were looking for someone that could offer vital support in the running of the business, to ensure we’re operating a smooth and efficient service at all times so every patient receives the very best care. And we were delighted when Laurie Dunsire applied for the role.
What made us so sure Laurie was the man for the job? Well, prior to joining YourGP, Laurie spent several years working in occupational health for a private company in Aberdeen. It was here he realised just how much he enjoys working in a field that really does help people first hand, as well as the variety that this industry offers. Here he also gained valuable experience of offshore medical requirements in addition to several other specialised healthcare areas, and developed skills in team management and client care.
As well as Laurie’s obvious attributes, he’s a man of hidden talents too. Did you know for example, he’s also a semi-professional football commentator? Experience, skills and a great communicator – we think we scored a hat-trick with Laurie!
